The Lifetime Long Project
One can call it a never-ending story. At least that’s how I feel about my own house. True, with moving from one place to another and not yet having found/settled for one place, it might make it a bit difficult as I don’t have the option to paint the walls or change the flooring. But I love using colours and patterns especially in a space I live in. My other passion is using pre-loved furniture or creating my own pieces. For example, the whole living area is mix of all the above. Pre-loved sofa and chaise lounge in vibrant green velvet fabric, dining chairs and dining table which I painted yellow to match the armchair – the only brand-new piece in the space, then my designs for the coffee table, magazine rack, flower stand and record player table. Lastly, the storage shelving used as a library and study nook.
